We are excited to share our time, passion and gifts with the communities where we live and work.
We partner with organizations that align with our ethics and values – places where we can contribute to education, health and entrepreneurship.
Since 2019 we have donated over 5000$ to four different charities that are aligned to our values and give back to the communities we live in.
Mission Tournesol - We help people in Témiscamingue with cancer. Mission Tournesol is a non-profit organization whose vocation is to provide financial and social support to people with cancer in the Témiscamingue region. https://www.missiontournesol.com
Centre de Prévention du Suicide du Témiscamingue - The CPST is a community organization whose mission is to prevent suicide and its impacts by ensuring access to quality services for suicidal people, their loved ones, those bereaved as a result of suicide and the workers who work with them. It also aims to raise awareness and develop the skills of individuals and organizations. https://www.cdctemiscamingue.org/nos-membres/centre-de-prevention-du-suicide-du-temiscamingue
Red Cross – After Hurricane Fiona we felt compelled to help out! The Canadian Red Cross is a leader in supporting Canadians to remain living in their homes safely and with dignity through innovative and compassionate community health services. Canadian Red Cross Community Health Services are focused on non-acute interventions that are proactive and solution-based to meet the changing needs of Canadians who wish to stay at home as long as possible. https://www.redcross.ca/how-we-help/current-emergency-responses/hurricane-fiona-2022
L’Actia, - L’Actia is an association that provides a support center for people living with a physical and/or sensory disability in Témiscamingue. We have close friends and family members who are active in this association and who use their services daily. It was near and dear to our hearts to give back to our community for this cause. https://cdctemiscamingue.org/nos-membre/actia/
Ferme Chez Lyne et Sylvain – Lyne and Sylvain are great friends who have been associated with the Centre de Prévention du Suicide du Témiscamingue since 2017. Every year they donate between 1500-2000$ to the cause. In 2022 we volunteered on the farm and drove a 1947 tractor and wagon to pull little children and their families around the farm and enjoy the beautiful pumpkin harvesting season.
